Aux fans are humming and vibrating all of a sudden
Within the past few days, one or both of the aux fans have started to hum and vibrate in my 93 100s. This is whenever the a/c is on. The vibration is felt throughout the whole car and there is a moderately loud humming noise outside. Is the only solution to replace one of both of the fans? Or is this a more common problem with an easier fix? Thanks,

You feel the vibration from the fans through the whole car? That sounds odd. I think they would have to be really off to make the whole car vibrate.
Pop the hood when you turn the AC on once and use your ears to determine if it's really the fans making the noise.
Use your eyes to see what's vibrating.
My guess would be that you have something else wrong and it's making the engine idle poorly (vacuum?) when you turn the AC on, and that's what's making the car vibrate.
Maybe your AC compressor is messed up?
Does it happen when you don't have the AC on and the fans come on?

The fans would not make the car vibrate. I can almost bet your AC compressor is fading and making the car vibrate when it puts load on the engine. To test this: UNPLUG AC COMPRESSOR (GREEN PLUG), LET CAR IDLE UNTIL IT HEATS UP AND THE FANS COME ON TO COOL IT DOWN, DO YOU HEAR THE NOISE AND FEEL THE VIBRATIONS? IF NOT THEN YOUR COMPRESSOR IS THE PROBLEM.

If you unplug the a/c compressor the fans should still run with the a/c switched on. Sounds like you may have lost a blade or bad bearing in one the fans but if the vibration is gone with the compressor disconnected then its time for a little a/c work. If its not an R-134 system then this would be the time to do it.
