Re: Beeping noise
I know mine beep when the brake pad are worn. Also, it beep when you're low on gas. Usually, the warning symbol would come on the center display located above the tach and odom. You may want to check you're user manual.

My guess is you should stop driving the car.
Most likely the red bulb in your autocheck is burnt out and there is a red symbol being displayed (along with the beep) but you can not see it. Check to see if the red symbols in your autocheck are working by press the clock adjust button.

Re: Beeping noise
I had that on my 92 100. It seems like the computer kinda gets stuck. My MPG/AVG MPG/Fuel Remain etc. computer didn't work while that happened either. What worked for me was shutting the engine off completely and letting it sit at least 10 sec. sometimes I had to do that a couple of times before it would reset itself but I haven't had the problem for quite a while...

Re: I agree, sounds like your red bulb is burnt out...
look at your warning display you maybe able to see it at the right angle. I suspect your speed warning is being activated when you reach a certain speed ? Check your operators manual...
