Check Engine Light

My 92 audi 100cs starts shaking alittle when i hold the brakes for a long period (over 4 minutes). Then the check engine light appears. Does anyone know the cause of this and what it takes to fix it??

Vacuum leak or possibly brake booster bad/leaking.

how could i figure out which one it is? and where is the vacuum hose located?? could u give me some instructions

i dont know how to get the codes... i dont want to take it to a shop where the charge 40 just to detect the problem. HELP ME PLEASE

A quick suggestion....
