Check Engine Light + Random Beeps!
<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/114471/sin_ttulo-1_copia.jpg"></center><p>Well trying to bring back the cluster Ii came across that the check engine light (Yellow/White - Blue/Red) Was cut For obvious reasons... So I put it together and the lighs flashes and stay on (I read in the owner manual that the # of flashes can tell what the problem is (Is that right?) After that While I'm driving I hear a subtle 1 full second long beep that is driving me crazy for not knowing what does it mean. I also read that the Check engina Light disables the Speed Limiter or something but is not very clear...
By the way, What are the usual reasons for the light to come on?

Push in the **** on the left side of the cluster under the tach.
If you don't see any thing start to pop up on the autocheck display, it's broken. Then the beep is probably from one of the things 4Ring mentioned above. Except it isn't the coolant level and my guess would be the brake pad sensor if you aren't low on gas. Could also be brake lights or headlights too.

I have the brake pads warning...
The auto check seems to be working but it is displaying the bulbs and brake pads...
What disorented me is that it didn't sound for a while and it began after I restore the check engine light...
