I heard about the crash, I did not know the story behind it.
Here's his forum post

It's sad that parents give or allow a teenager to drive any high performance car w/o providing...
basic advance driver training. As the stats prove, deaths from auto accidents are the leading cause of death for persons up to ~25 years of age. That's why no person (w/ the obvious exceptions) in that age bracket should ever be allowed to drive this type of vehicle. Thankfully, no innocent bystander was injured or killed by these morons in the last stupid decision.

and this is why as a 19 year old...
I purchased the slow *** 0-60 in about 10seconds 2.8 12valve V6- its a lot harder to get in trouble that way + I get to learn the ins and outs of cars before I plunk some money down on a S6 in a few years.
Alright... well maybe an C4 S6 is in the cards for this coming fall (I will be 21).

Still a sad story. Its one thing to endanger yourself, but its another to endanger your passengers and others on the road. You need to drive with respect.

No doubt, but how'd you like to get the phone call, "Your wife and kids are all dead."
Any one, or all, of the kids on board that car could have said, "Uh, dude......maybe we shouldn't take your dad's Bavarian Money Waster out to the airport and see if it'll do 190mph in less than 1.5mi and still be stoppable."

I get your point but...
there are 19 yr olds testing f1 cars and racing GP bikes, but then, a goofy kid will do crazy **** in a 90 hp Hyundai or fly his mtn bike off a cliff so.....it's in God's hands.
