Dash lights and speedometer issues...
On my '94 100CSq, I have heated front seats. When I turn on my headlights, the two thumbwheel switches on the dash don't light up (and in fact, never have). Are they supposed to be dark, or do I have two fried bulbs? And if I do, how tough are they to replace?
Also, my speedometer doesn't read properly when I first start the car. When it's cold, it takes the needle about 20 minutes to begin reading accurately. When it's warm, it usually takes less than 5. The funny thing is, my cruise control works perfectly, even when I'm doing 70mph down the highway and my speedo needle is reading 20. Has this ever happened to anybody else? Even if it hasn't happened to you, can you think of a possible reason why, 'cause I'm stumped!

1st problem is just burned out bulbs....(m)
These two bulbs burn out all the time because Audi wired them to be on when the car is on!! Depending on what switches the '94 100 has you can replace them (but it's not real easy). Go to 20v.org for instructions.
Second problem....You have a signal problem. If it was the sensor causing the problem then you would get a check engine light. Since you don't I would suspect a dirty connection in the wiring as it goes to the cluster. You may want to try cleaning the contacts on the back of the cluster.
