Default Fitting Autodimming mirror on my Car

Will a 2001 AUDI A4 REAR VIEW MIRROR the plug having a part number # 4B0971234,
and MIRROR PART # E102*0516. fit on my car? Had Audi kept the mount glued to the glass the same since 1996?? Could somebody help me with this???

Has somebody added Autodimming mirror to a car which came with none? Will appreciste inputs and which model pf the mirror was used...

Default It will work if you wire it....

The mirror glues on to the glass just like your current mirror. I wouldn't worry about the mount (that is glued to the windshield) becuase it doesn't matter.

Pull the current mount off the winshield and then glue the new mirror on. They sell the glue at Wal-Mart, etc. I went to the local auto glass shop and they glued mine on for free (when my mirror fell off my '95 90q).

Default Should work, probably have to run the power wires to the new mirror. Autodimming mirrors availible..

from JCWhitney.com for $99. A version with an electronic compass is $249. I am just in the process of installing one in my Corvette.
