Default I just fixed my power locks!

Felt good that it was a vacuum leak instead of a dead pump. A single cm^2 peice of tape instead of a 300$ repair - probably the best feeling in my life.

And it feels good to fix it yourself anyway.

Default Tape?

It's great news that you solved the problem yourself, and now I hope that you plan on actually replacing the hose or T that's leaking instead of relying on that piece of tape for the long term..

Default

I used JD weld to fix hole in radiator. And I do not plan to replace whole radiator any time soon.

Default Re: Tape?

Well...if the tape doesn't hold up, I'll replace the "T" then. If it does, why bother?

Default That's JB Weld, and a radiator is a little different than a vacuum T

-and I wouldn't use JB Weld to fix my radiator, except to maybe get me home. (Sorry, but Papa taught me to do things right the first time, instead of having to repeating the same task twice..)

Okay, I'm done. :^}
