is there any way to get the hood open if the cable breaks?
the lever inside the car doesn't do anything, and i need to put some oil in my car badly. do i have to get up underneith it, of take the grille off? thanks for any help

most probubly cable is Ok, but one of the plastic holders is broken.
As a result wire is intact, but need to be pulled 1-2" further. You can pull the wire from behind the hood opening lever with pliers. it will open the hood.
