Default looks good.

i picked up my 4000 turbo a month ago and it's STILL not registered. I've never done any work on a car before, and my dad hasn't for many years, so going is very, very slow (i've replaced all 4 suspension struts.... twice) but i think it's finally ready to go in for insp. (1100 dollars later)
jesus i hope to hell it passes

He says the AC comperssor will be put back in place before the sale. I'd like to see that happen! Unless he's going to make some spacers or new brackets, not gonna happen, that pesky turbo is in the way.

That car should have an intercooler on it too. The factory runs IC's on cars with 5-6psi boost and lower compression.

Could be quite a headache - or a great buy (or huge reserve)

reserve still isn't me so I would offer $800 or so the most.

Default The first Audi 200/5000 turbos had no intercoolers.

I think that is what the motor in that car is from, a pre-Aero 5000 turbo.

Default Looks like a good buy

Finding an intercooler would not be a problem. My buddys 4kT was 2k. So I would say 1k would be a good buy, not too much over. The body looks fairly clean, especially since it spent alot of time out west. Take a paek and post us some pics. Happy shopping.
