Default 4kQ front engine seal how to

Am going to bite the bullet and do the Blau tool rental and timing belt kit and while I am scrounging up the bucks for the kit, I thought I'd get everthing off needed to go prior to the repair. The belt seems really loose, but no cracks I can see, but my main question is how much of the front end needs to be removed to get access to the bolt on the crakshaft and then be able to work on the tensioner, water pump etc. A url I could access with a step by step plan with photos? I have a 3/4 drive impact socket, braker bar and long cheater pipe, but wondering how much moree needs to be pulled off for easy access.

Anything else needing to be replaced while I'm in there? Oil pump access? I will get t stat and water pump done for sure.

Thanks DM&FS

Pull the grill, bumper cover and you should be fine. Are you replacing the front seal because it needs it or because you plan on doing the timing belt and want to do everything??

Default Re: reasons

I'm doing it because the motor is leaking oil in several spots and one appears to be around that crank pulley. I would bet money on the oil sender down there, the oil pan gasket, and valve cover gasket as well. Hope the rear main seal is okay, that looks like real work to pull the tranny. Also doing front diff side cover seals and rear diff seals.

thanks

Check the bolts that hold the oil pump to the front of the block. They can leak too, if loose.
