Default Alright I have a question about painting...

what you guys think?
if I take the car in to the paint shop, do you recommend I remove the the side mirrors, mouldings and spoiler, and paint them myself with the special rubber/plastic additive (so it doesn't start chipping). Or are these guys gonna do that for me?
How did you guys do it while in the painting process?

Default where are you taking it?

if you're taking it to maako, the best thing to do is remove everything you can from the car to reduce the overspray maako is famous for at the very least. as far as painting it yourself, the absolut best way, would be to take your plastic parts to a real body shop, and have them paint it. if money is an object, you can do it yourself. word to the wise, those textured plastic mirrors look terrible when they're painted any kind of color other than black. trust me, i bought new mirrors because of it. and by the way, i am still dissapointed in you for replacing your red leather with cloth.
