So I graduated (Grade 13) in 1978.

Probably before many forum members were even born? :-)

I "knew everything" (Grade 13)....and found out I knew nothing (as an Engineering Frosh) in 1988

I know it's what we called freshmen at Queen's!

Default According to Wikipedia it's Canada/US thing....
In my tenure at Mac....1988 to 1995 (Engineering is the worst 4 years of your life....or the best 7 - and they certainly were) the admin. was trying to remove "Frosh" from the lingo, saying that it was demeaning, etc. etc. Probably somebody's pet project.....might just as well try to change the direction of Gravity IMHO.
