If your temp guage works fine unplug the sensor under your overfill tank. I had the same problem with my 4kq and 5kqt.

no guage dosnt work

but i installed the new switchit and now my fan works properly turning off and on and fixed the light so im stoked 10 bux well spent ;o)

I think the gauge uses a different sensor.

Make sure coolant resevoir is full
