ddg...how much was milled from your head, and where did you set your cam timing?
My head was milled .028 inches, and my cam timing is set at 3.5 degrees retarded. It pulls all the way to rev limit with no hesitation. Everything else is stock.

Stock 4kq cam. All ports were gasket matched and cleaned up too....
well, more than cleaned up. LOTS of metal removed, including all of the exposed portion of the valve guides. Car runs strong enough to be fun!
