Does anyone know where to get the parts? >>
For my friend's Coupe GT moonroof. Not sure what exactly is broken but I had to tie the piece down to the handles inside the car to keep it from flipping up and down on it's own. I think that it might be the pins that are guided along the rails. Where can we find these parts?
Thanks...

You'll hate me, but...
I had two sunroof frames a couple years ago, threw them out when I moved. What the heck would anyone want with those? I asked myself.
Definately a junkyard item. Only on the CGT though; the 4k is different. You can remove the entire frame/hinge/pivot assy with a Phillips screwdriver methinks. Your pal probably broke the white metal thing the roof panel pins go into. These will bend (and I guess break) over tiime with use, which is why you rarely see a CGT sunroof that fits right.
Personally, I think the sunroof in these is the DUMBEST thing on the car. Robs headroom, is a beeotch to take in and out, and is small in size. I never take mine out. The holder in the trunk was useful for making a shelf to hang my CD changer on though.

Dumbest Sunroof ever
The only time i ever took that thing out was a day after i bought the car, and 2 years later it has never been off.. they make a pontiac's T-tops seem convient..
All it does now is leak, remind me to send the thank-you note to the engineer that desgined that, along with the hippie-glowstick powered headlights and 4-everLok door handles

Re: Dumbest Sunroof ever
I've had my CGT for 12 years. Never had it leak, even in some of the worst weather.
Now, I agree it's a PITA to remove. Also, it's design doesn't rob much head room at all(having had a euro CGT without a sunroof, I can confirm), but since the roof is lower then the 4k sedans (if you'll notice you can't use a junkyard 4k windshield on a CGT) this was the only design they could use. It's too bad they didn't use the design you see on cars such as the integra or the CRX.
