Gas tank overflow question...
Yesterday I noticed a small dripping of liquid (maybe a couple of drops, nothing excessive) from the rear bumper cover just behind the passenger rear wheel. Is this where the overflow tube from the gas tank runs? I've had problems in the past with this car and the overflow. Last winter the pump apparently clicked off late and when I took a hard left I had some gas running down the side of the car that spewed out from around the gas cap.
Right now the gauge reads 3/4 of a tank, could fuel still be sloshing up the filler tube and into the overflow tube? There are no tank leaks in the trunk and no rust in the area of the filler tube, so at least that part is solid.

I have the same issue w/ my car...
I found at the track that I also dumped gas down the side of the car from the cornering!!!
Obviously it's something I need to fix, as that's DEF not a good thing!
When I pull the gas cap to fill the tank, I have gas IN the cap! I'm guessing that something isn't sealing properly, but have no clue what... maybe the gasket on the cap isn't good anymore perhaps?
I don't really care now since the paint is garbage on the car, but once it gets some loving, I don't want gas spilling onto fresh paint if ya know what I mean
