Default hasn't been posted yet so.......what are the plans for this weekend?

it's to cold to work outside so i think i'll get everything ready to go on the cgt one of the days it'll be above 20. i also need to bring the doorframe for the new front entry door of the house in and paint it. i will be putting that in one of the warmer days as well.

not much else. just stay warm. : )

Default Paint and start getting the NF ready to go in the 4k

Probably try and finish cleaning the engine bay too. Depends on how cold the garage is if I'll paint tho.

Also have a leak on the A6, need to start figuring that out.

Default Got to find why GF's 4kq won't start..

I've Got to find why Rebeca's 4kq won't start..

Seems as if the coolant temp sensor is going bad, as it's been having to warm up a bit before she could drive a way for the last little while..

Only way i could get it to start this morning was to undo the connector on the CT Sensor.. :-(

I so love working on cars in the winter.. (no!)

Default Re: the plans this weekend...

non audi- finish last 2 square of siding on front of house, spackle new kitchen ceiling, isulate and rock the new upstairs dormer, dig Xmas decorations out of basement and install.

Attend work Xmas party Sat night.....maybe.

Audi related - install slave cylinder and repair radiator leak 4kq ( did the master last night).

Put wheels on Urq and move to other side of backyard, put front suspension back on CGT and move next to Urq. ( this is so I can have a new sanitary (cesspool) system put in and around my driveway area) { this is so I can eventually enlarge my garage so I don't have to do everything outside on a bluestone driveway }

Investigate timing issue on my daughter's A4 ( appears the tensioner has bit the bullet ) and commence engine removal most likely.

All this in 30 degree rain/snow/sleet conditions......wooooopeeeeeee

Default Re: this weekend

Saturday morning I'm going to check out a '95 90 at a local auction.
At some point I need to finish removing the stupid faux wood trim from the A4, and sunday my 4000q is going to a new home (a forum member!).

Unfortunately I'm also saying goodbye to this awesome weather we've been having here (high 70's and sunny all week)....its getting cold and rainy this weekend =[

Default The other CV boot....

Maybe if I can get it in the garage here. Otherwise nothing. I could have used the quattro to get up the driveway yesterday, had to turn off the ESP to get the Jetta up without toasting the brakes.

Default 4Kq is done,

slave thing was no big deal, PO had installed some kind of spring ring roll pin with a nice handle to pull on.
