I need a speedometer cable?
#2
New or old, long or short?
Old style long version had threaded end at speedo. Supposed to be NLA from the dealer.
THe newer version that has the plastic 'twist lock' end may be available at the dealer. Maybe..
Then there are the 'o2' sensor versions that are shorter, and end at the 'o2' sensor counter box up under the cowel.
So not quite as simple as 'anyone have a cable'..

You can get it rebuilt for approx $60
After searching high and low, and being unable to source a used cable, a local business to me sent mine out to Nevada speedometer and had it rebuilt for me. My counter box ate up this cable and when i took it back in, they sent it to Portland somewhere, and it only costed me about $30 to rebuild. I'm out of town but will try to locate the name of the business if you're interested. It would be a good idea to gut the gears out of your counter box. It disassembles with 4 screws. I removed enough of the gears so that the shaft that runs through it turns freely. I then lubed it with lithium grease and reassembled. Speedo cable life has gone from about 2-3 weeks to about 5 months (so far).
