I've been wanting a cheap 4 door version of my car, but a Quattro is even better! Do the '81 and '84 use the same engine? And will the engine from a '86 Coupe GT work in either car?

Default Engines

I think 81-84 is all the same, but may be wrong. The KX will bolt in, though you may have to change some ancilliary bits here and there. Nothing hard though.
Nice purchase.

Default My recent e-bay purchase.

Auto, however it's just a parts/beater car for now. Eventually, (2-3 years down the road), it will be transformed into an auto-x car perhaps. Now I have two fun 1981 4k4e's to play with.

Default Looks good

I saw that car on ebay as well. I wouldnt mind owning an 84 4kq someday, they have that "mean" look to them, as my 84 4k did.
Looks like a nice purchase, your lucky

Default Re: Larger pic, Thank you!

The bigger the better. Now what I need or should I say want is a pre '85 coupe. Than I will have one of each body style. My wife is making threats on my life, but I still feel like the coolest guy on my block! Man are my priorities out of whack!
