Default SO...

i picked up the car today excited to drive it. It was at the exhaust shop. But so im driving it all having fun, when i see steam. I'm like wtf? because 3 days ago i replaced the radiator. So any way i brought it back to my friends shop. He says that its the fan. supposidly it isnt coming on and causing over heating... Have any of you expierenced this? if i wiggle around where the fan and the wires connect it starts up. So im guessing Bad connection? Any other things could be causing over heating>?

ALSO!!! I put 15 dollars in the tank but the gauge (i have a digi dash) is showing im on E? SHould i just reset the computer by disconnecting the battey??

Default Digidash trouble shooting

Download the manual from my server below.
As for the fan i'd guess a bad connection wherever you were wiggling- clean the contacts. If not then it's either the temp sender or the relay

Digidash manual

Default Re: SO...

So 15.00 is what... a quarter of a tank?
I'd look at the sensor. I had the same problem.. The sensor would kick the fan on sometimes and sometimes not. It had to be replaced.
