So I've got an old 4K with a 10v turbo swap and I held onto the 5K trans from the donor. I swapped the 5K in which has a wider gear ratio so I can finally cruise at 80. I didn't change anything in the rear diff. I know in 4x4 trucks you don't usually have to change the rear gear but I figured I'd ask if anyone else has done this to a 4K and should I try to find some 5K rear diff gears? By the way the quattro still works fine, or I assume so. No weird handling and diff lock still turns on.

If you're worried I'd be careful using quattro on dry pavement. If you're not having any issues, I'd imagine that the final drive ratios are the same
