Default Thanks to ....

RS90, Max, Brad, db, duan and the rest for the edgeamacation. And I thought db was giving me **** about buying a triple square socket !!!! Never needed anything like that for a Ford truck !One interesting tidbit to pass along from Marty at Raxles.com - seems my 86 CGT may have one of two sizes of inner CV joints. Apparently some have 90 mm dia and some are 100mm. Raxles sells the halfshaft with "new" CV joints for 150.00. Look at their website, and very friendly. Since I live way out here on Maui, I'm going the reman half shaft route from Napa and xng my fingers. How the car got here seems to be from Rusnak in Pasadena CA, then OAHU and finally to Maui. Along the way it seems to have been garaged, sealed shined, and generaally babied all the way, although the minute I bought it stuff starts going wrong. To be expected I guess.

Default IIRC - 90 mm was up to 84, 100 mm was for 84.5 - 87, & 108 mm for the 87.5

Although Bentely states 90 mm until 12/82 & 100 mm from 10/82 (& makes no mention of 108 mm).
