Default Well...so far not exactly as I had planned...

So tonight didn't go _exactly_ as I had planned...but I still ended up working on a car.

Drove a buddy down to Downtown T.O. tonight...while parking the car it was incredibly difficult to get into reverse. "Hmmm..." I thought...something I'll have to look at when it's on the lift.

Apparently, it didn't want to wait that long. First reverse (and I assume fifth) became impossible to find. Then first and second. Sitting, downtown, with only 3rd and 4th gear. Took a 35min trip on the highway at 4000 rpm (and only 100km/h) to the shop where I rent space.

New shifter bushings (just HAPPENED to have a spare) were popped in tonight, after much surfing of audiworld (finding nothing), calling MasterB for family albulm photos (never arrived) and then finally just deciding I'd "figure it out".

While I was at it I also:

- Changed the oil
- Discovered my low brake fluid light doesn't work, and I below the clutch master line. <shudder>
- Determined exhaust leak problem (lets just say, there is no clamp where there is DEFINITELY supposed to be a clamp!) but didn't have the parts to repair it.

So tomorrow the 4kq goes up on the lift again to fix the exhaust leak...

Hmph. Almost got to do some of the work I had planned :P

Don't know why there was nothing on our forum about shifter bushings, folks have posted about it.
