195/65-15 tires in place of 205/60-15?

Guys, I'm getting new tires for my 89 100q tomorrow. Stock is 205/60-15, but I'm thinking of putting 195/65-15. I want a quieter, smoother ride, with even more bite in the snow. I don't do any sport driving in this car.
The difference in diameter is almost nothing, and the skinnier tires are cheaper.
Any advice?

I don't think you'd notice a difference either...
I would stick with stock size. Have you considered Hakka NRW? They are all season (actually they refer to tehm as all weather), but also rated for the winter. I have them for 2 seasons now. They are quiet, and great in snow. You can also use them in the summer vs. other snow tires.

No problem.
The 195/65-15 size was stock on 15x7" wheels for the 92+ 100cs.
The 15x6" BBS's you have will actually fit them better that the 205/60-15's.
A 7" wide wheel is better for 205mm wide tires...less sidewall bulge.
195 will be better for snow and rain performance anyway.

195/65-15 now on - work great - $125 less...
Big price difference between these and the stock 205/60-15. I'd recommend this switch to others, unless you really need sport tires (100's aren't the most sporty cars).
