BF Goodrich Tractions? Vs Michelin Pilot?
Any preferences for all season, city driving in a V8? (H rated)
I am putting in my order on Monday. Both are within $10 of each other. I'm leaning toward the BF's, but then again the Michelins have a great reputatuion.
Thanks for your thoughts,
Phil

My personal opinion...
from having had both brands of tires (not the same models) is that the BF's (which I'm assuming are cheaper) are very good but tend to crack and wear a little faster than the Michelin Man's product. There's a reputation there that I've found to be deserved in my experience. BF makes good big truck tires etc, I would lean to the Michelen's.

Both are good choices but I'd let your driving style determine which you choose.....
BFG is Michelin's performance division so there is very little overlap between tire models of the two labels.
BFG T/A series tires tend towards softer compounds with wear offset by deeper tread. They are all produced with a very rugged construction to withstand lots of outright abuse. IME, since the early 80's, I've yet to see a BFG tire that I didn't like, they are reletively inexpensive, have an excellent warrantee, and most are excellent all weather tires.
LNF: BFG street truck tires are so rugged that they are used "off the shelf" for BAJA and Arena truck racing.
