hi dana i had the same prob on my 200turbo when i hit the fast peddle turns out in my case it was the top mounts think its the same set up as yours cant think back if it is its not that bad a job but change the shocks if you do it will save time later try www.vagparts.com ask martyn what it is the man is a god in the uk good luck mat
