Default changed the hall, still not much luck /:

So i installed a brand new hall(the old hall was broken into 100s of pieces... weird?) Installed everything properly, thought I had lined the distributor gear to exactly where it was. Got rapid pulses from the coil wire but the car didnt start (timing off?), played with the timing a bit, tried to restart, Nothing! Checked spark from the coil No spark! Pulled the codes got 2113 (bad hall again?) Will the timing effect whether there's a spark or not? Maybe it's off by a couple teeth?
Thanks

Default Andrew Andrew Andrew!!!!

when will you ever learn. The crank signal and the hall signal must be in sync before the ECU will send a trigger signal to the coil.

Default New Hall Sensor source?

Hi Andrew,
I had an intermittent problem similar to yours - mine is still unresolved, but I know that the Hall is reading out of range in the window. (Sorry I can't be of much help) Where did you get the new sensor?
Cheers!

Default Re: New Hall Sensor source? (Revised)

I saw this on another forum some time ago and saved the picture, but I don't remember if it was for a 10v or 20v engine.

(revised)
It is for a 10v engine.

That's great to hear, now no more talk about getting rid of the car.
