Cruise Control not working
Hey guys. My cruise control on '93 Audi V8 recently quit working. I checked fuse, relays and it's all good. I think it's going to be the switch that's the culprit, but i'm not sure. Is there anything else I should look into?
Also, if the problem is the switch, does the audi 100, 200 or 5K have the same design? A new switch on the V8 is expensive, and I know of a salvaged 200 & 5KCDT sitting @ local junkyard. Thanks!!!

Re: Cruise Control not working
i have a 5kcst and its not very difficult. when i had the problem, it turned out to be the actual pump, not a bad vacuum line or wires or anything. I dont know how yours differ, but you might be able to check it out in audifans.com

Re: Cruise Control not working
I recently found on my 100 that the switch that works off the brake pedal to disengage the CC upon braking had worked itself loose. It provides part of the ground circuit for the CC also. I had to remove a minor piece of HVAC ductwork to get at the switch. I readjusted it to make sure the switch (plunger type) was bottoming out with the pedal at rest position & all is fine.
