fuel accumulator model compatibility ? is the list at the
below url for real ? My fuel accumulator sprung a leak this weekend and I don't even want to think what one costs new here in Canada if they are USD 160.00 in the States. If this list is reliable then it should be a snap to find one cheap in a scrapyard ... and a BIG tip of the hat to World Impex for providing such a useful list. Of course finding a scrapper one that works and lasts for a spell is another matter. How has been you folks' experiences with boneyard sourced accumulators ? Is this a dumb idea ?

http://www.worldimpex.com/item_detail.html?sku=71042</a

Look at the condition of your unit as an indicator.
I've found several freshly installed and/or rebuilt parts at the scrapper. Been keenly aware and you'll find joy amongst them bones.
Nice link btw.

With that long car application list from World Impex..................
you should be able to go to a wrecking yard and find a replacement. What I have started doing, is because parts like these are cheap at a yard, I will buy two of them. I figure one out of two will work, if the first one works, I keep the second as a spare. My guess is cost to be $15 to $20 bucks each USD from a yard. Best to go to a "you pull it yard."
