How many 5kt 5spd fwd versions are there?
Anybody here have one? I was in at the Audi dealer, and decided to chat it up with the tech more. He had a 5kt 5spd FWD that he gave to his son. He hasnt seen any since that one. Anyone here have one? JW

Yep had a 86 5K Turbo 5 sp FWD. It was a great car.
The CS Turbos had the FWD and the CS Quattro had turbo and guess what Quattro.
The car was great. Fast, good gas mileage, great ride and still was great in the winter in MN.
I sold it with 202K miles with the origional clutch, engine, turbo, gear box but not tires especially front ones.
Buy one if you find one.

We made one!
We took a customer's 1986 Audi 5000 turbo and removed his crapped out Auto tranny and installed a 5 speed from a wrecked turbo FWD. We also did a ECU and wastegate modification and it's the fastest Audi we've driven to date. Including my friend's unmodified 20VT. Of course, we did a little exhaust work to it too.
