Default I need help, please !!!! with thick haze on car and windows...

My 87' 5K CST is almost ready to start using as a Daily Driver, I only have one big problem, since the car has been sitting for about 4-5 years out here in California, the car's paint and windows have a thick film of haze that I just can't remove.

I tried regular window cleaner, no-go.
I tried Vinegar, no-go.
I even used a green pot scrubber, no-go.
I also tried to use a flat razor blade, haze is still there.

All I can say is the guy that I bought the car from had a couple of cement trucks that were stored on the property. I think that the dust that came from these trucks got on the car and overtime just caked on it.

Any suggestions, I can't even see outside of the windows very well, this stuff on thick.

Let me know I need to have this haze film removed, especially from the windows.

My friend suggests, Lime-Away.

Guys, please let me know of a good cleaner or product that can help me.

The paint does have some of this haze on it, but I have been able to remove it with a hard rubbing, I think that a good wax/buffing should do the trick.

On the brignt side, the car does not have any dents, or major blemishes, it only has a dull haze on it.

Thanks,

Default I use CLR on my shower to get off some NASTY deposits of junk... I live with 5 other college guys

who don't do any shower cleaning whatsoever... if it can get that crap off... it may be a good thing to try... if it really is cement - you may be SOL, I can't imagine that stuff comes off easily.

Actually... come to think of it, they make a product that grinds down windshields a little bit to get the stone chips out from old windshields... and it comes in different abrasion levels... that may be something that as a last resort (or if it really is concrete) I am sure would do the trick.

As for the paint... I have found Meguiars products to do a great job... maybe scrath-x, followed by an oxidation remover/paint system cleaner, followed by a nice polish, and then I really think the product Tech-wax is really good... should have the car looking like a million bucks in a few steps... well, unless its covered in concrete... see above for comment about SOL.
