Default In search of 90' V8Q "X" pipe???

I'm looking for the piece of exhaust before the cats thats shaped like an X. Its the part the O2 sensor threads into. The guy at my local exhaust shop said i should try to get one since he doubts he can get the old O2 sensor out without ruining the old "X" pipe. Does this sounds logical to any of you guys? Anyone have one they can part with for a reasonable price?? Also, has anyone ever taken the mid muffler out of this car to increase power/flow??Thanks!!!

Default LOL, tell the guy to use some heat & it won't be a problem. Then re-chase

the threads.

As far as mid muffler delete...... the exhaust is still 2 1/4... what I suggest is just doing 2 1/2 from the cats back to a Flowmaster/dynomax/ or the like.

I got a few exhaust setups for my V8..... but my fav is a 2 1/2 to a rear dynomax & DTM tips out the rear.

Default How I got the O2 sensor out of my V8q

Day 1: spray PB blaster on sensor
Day 2: spray PB blaster on sensor
Day 3: spray PB blaster on sensor
Day 4: spray PB blaster on sensor
Day 5: spray PB blaster on sensor
Day 6: spray PB blater on sensor, get exhaust hot, put crowsfoot on sensor, tap gently with hammer, put breaker bar on sensor, tap gently with hammer,

It came out smooth as butter.
