Well, looks like boxerfan and S4for73 were right on target. Did the solenoid output tests-fuel pump and all ecu solenoids function correctly. Then out came the CIS fuel pressure testing gauge: Cold-engine testing at 65 deg F yielded control pressure of 2.7 bar at the top of the fuel dizzy-a wee bit high! System pressure was correct at 6.8 bar after shut down. Therefore, too much pressure at the top of the fuel dizzy equals air plate not opening easily enough, equals not enough fuel and a lean condition. Of course, the culprit must be the WUR, right? (The airflow metering plate moves easily when manually actuated, and system fp is good-don't think it's an obstruction in the fuel dizzy). I'll report back when I get my rebuilt WUR back tomorrow...
