Okay, so I finally got off my butt and started assembling the head today. Took the intake manifold (which has been bead blasted) to the do-it-yerself car wash and cleaned out the innards with a baby bottle brush.

NOTE: if you ever have an intake manifold bead blasted, be SURE you clean it before assembling, I was amazed at the amount of beadblasting grit that came out of the manifold.

So I get home and start cleaning the throttle body in preparation for putting it on the manifold. There's a gasket under it, did I order a throttle body gasket?

She-ot.

Forgot to order it...%#@*!@!!

So I have to order the gasket tomorrow, anyone know what the p/n is?

Also, the injector inserts look like they need o-rings at the top of the brass insert to seal it, but Mr. Bentley doesn't say anything about o-rings. This is at the top of the threads on the brass injector insert, is there an o-ring supposed to be there or what?

(assuming not 20v or NA)

There is no seal on the brass piece. there is one seal on the plastic piece that the brass thing pushes on, and two on the injector.. I've got a picture somewhere..
