I just changed my oil, on the V8 and i can't remember ever seeing this, but at idle pressure is about 1.8bar and under heavly acceleration at 5 bar (regular stuff) but my question is shiuld the oil pressure drop this low, I checked for leads and theres nothing, I checked the dip stick and it reads full, is there something im missing here?

what weight oil are you using? Engine runs hotter in the summer, so a heavier weight like 20W50 should be used. My pressure at idle is 2 bars.

my pressure acts normal, just it at 1.5 to 1.8 at idle and im using 10w30. Will it also still be safe to operate?

Ditto! I have a little over 2 bar ..(2.4 or something) and I am using 0W50 Full synthetic oil

At about 3000+ RPM The pressure nearlly goes off the scale!!

I think the oil grade plays a big role in the pressure as mentioned.

im not sure what was in the car before, but at idle it would be at 2.something and under accerleation the thing practically went off the scale also.

Should be at full pressure when cold and just starting (for proper engine protection.)
Should get back down to 2 bar or so when idleing and warm.
Should drop from 5 bar a little when letting off of the gas at low speeds (below 20 mph or so.)
Should be at 5 bar the rest of the time.
