Default visiting from 4k forum with a part request...

<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/73872/p1030280.jpg"></center><p>i'm fixing dads 89 100q, and this whole shifter linkage housing and ball housing are hosed. any of you have one laying around? the rubber bushing inside the ball housing is broken out so that the lever can plunge down in or pull totally out. the studs have all broken off of the shift linkage house, i will probly just screw it down from inside the car as he doesn't drive much anymore. any ideas or info on the part is appreciated. thanks guys. -illig

Default That is an 01A shifter, can gett the ball housing for pretty cheap, $20-30 IIRC.

The part is actually from the 80/90 series of cars, which means you can put a short shift kit in there if you want ;-)

Otherwise, the ball housing (that has the bushing):
893 711 334 B

If you need the piece that the housing bolts down to, its:
443 711 105

Try ImpexFAP.com <i>after</i> you try TaylorAutomotive.com

Just checked, and the price went up on the ball housing, $65 from Taylor...Impex is $30 higher.

Default thanks... if i thought i could make a hurst fit, i'd throw the t-handle in it from the trans am

i'm gona keep searchin and thanks for the info

I doubt you'll find it for cheaper than at Taylor....
