ABS....

ABS....
so I looked on the 20v.org about ABS and it said that when you start up the car you should hear a clicking by the wheel that has a bad ABS sensor. Does that still apply to an 88 90Q?
What going on is that if the ABS is on, the pedal studders when ever I press on it, whether or not I'm pressing hard.
Brakes work fine with the ABS off... and if I leave it on, it automatically turns off after driving a little ways.
Do I just need to get new sensors? How do I tell which sensor I need to replace?

Re: ABS....
You really cannot tell which sensor, without test equipment.
I have used a volt meter to test continuity! ;O)
Often a good visual inspection of each sensor will reveal which one is bad. Look for loose or broken wires, or bad outer protective coating for the wires. Removing them, and cleaning all the garbage from their tips, as they are large magnets, and can accumulate alot of metal particles. Then reseting their gap, often fix's the system! ;O)
