'95 Audi 90. Factory alarm has always worked fine giving a little chirp when engaged. Now, the rear alarm horn sounds loudly for about 10 sec whenever the alarm is engaged or disengaged (car locked or unlocked remote or by key). Tryed opening and closing the hood, trunk, and all doors, nothing loose on the radio, etc. Any ideas?

Check for a broken "plunger" at the doors, hood and trunk.

I had some stuff sliding around in my trunk and I think it damaged the solenoid that is supposed to chirp the alarm horn and makes it stick for about 4 seconds into a blast. I disconnected the alarm horn for now.
