ok...im not totally dumping the rieger kit piece but lets just say that i do go for the OEM rs2 bumper...if i see it one a euro site...and i actually get them to ship it here... will it fit? i heard something like...they only fit the euro bumper supports but then again i heard it was a direct fit. i found this site... http://www.gpcvwaudi.com/ and i wondered if thats a good price 500 for the front bumper... i can get the lights somewhere else or maybe from there but it might come out cheaper...u think it would fit?

http://www.gpcvwaudi.com/</a

If the red B4 in your pp is yours, then the RS2 OEM bumper _is_ a direct fit, regardless if US spec or not, as the necessary mounting hardware comes with it. At least I can say this if you order it at http://www.euro-audi-parts.com - everything you will need is included. Trust me, it is really only a paint-then-bolt-on job.
As for the mentioned web site, are you aware that the price is 500 UK POUNDS? I'd rate that as outrageously expensive. Contact Alex and see what he got.

Nick (audios69) is also in the business of arranging group buys for RS2 headlights, bumpers etc. You may want to ask him about it.

Hey C2RL-
If you want to try it yourself, you should go through a source that directly refabricates the RS2 bumper, like www.sierramotorsport.com although it's fiberglass.
Another option is getting them from a German source, as production costs are cheaper in the countries that the RS2 replicas are made. I can get a RS2 replica, for much cheaper than $750, however (made of plastic not fiberglass) but the best method of shipping would be for a group of 10 or so of them, in a crate via ocean freight. $350 for such a shipment from Europe if you talk to the right people
But I'd just like to stay out of this conversation all together.
