Average time cooling fans come on for V6
I am wondering what the average time interval is for people's cooling fans to kick on are.
My car doesn't run hot, but the fans are coming on a lot. Whether it is 85 or 65 outside temp, when idling my fan kicks on every 40 seconds and runs for 20 seconds.
My gauge stays right on the hash mark for the correct temp, I have already replaced the MFTS. Last Nov I had the waterpump done along with fresh coolant during the timing belt change. Maybe I am just being paranoid.

I just had my rad fen sensor replaced....fans stopped coming on alltogether...but
my car seems to run a little bit hot anyway and the fans do seem to come on frequently although maybe not as frequently as yours. It's possible that your fan sensor/switch has the opposite problem mine had. Either way, not a big deal to replace.
