Default Bhp to Hp? Whats the difference?

They said in the new article on the front page that the new A4 engine has 190 bhp. How much horespower is that? I always thought it was the same. Also Ps? Kw? Just a few i've seen to measure horsepower.

Default Same

Just depends on which kind of dyno they used.

Bhp is brake HP. Commonly tested using a water brake dyno. Generally the most accurate. Sometimes bhp is also called boiler HP, although this is completely different.

In Europe the standard is KW, although as with everything it varies. Usually you can just do the math. 1 Kw = 1.341 HP This is sometimes measured using a magneto dyno. The trouble with those is knowing the loss in the dyno accurately.
