Sea Foam has been used by many to remove carbon but I'm surprised that is what they claim kept you from passing. What did you fail on exactly and by how much? NOx, CO, Hydro Carbons?

Those numbers indicate more of an EGR problem than carbon. Does it idle OK or a little lumpy. You can also try the dry gas bottle fix.. One or two bottle of dry gas with a tank of gas generally lowers NOx and maybe even hydro carbons.

Best to warm the car up too, a good 20-30 minutes on the highway at speed always helps.

Any brand will work as long as it uses an alcohol as the additive (isopropal or methanol) the extra oxygen in the alcohol will bring down the NOx and CO levels. Can't remember if it will help with the carbons.. Wont hurt to beat the bag out of it before hiting the emission station either..

How is that idle?? As that will be the first indication if the EGR system is messed up.

Ah OK.. So I'd seafoam the intake (via a vacuum hose) then run a few bottles of dry gas through it. Don't forget to get it good and hot for inspection..
