Default CQ 5-lug conversion problem

In the middle of the 5-lug conversion and I haven't found any definitive answers in the forum archives on my specific issue. Converting the front end to 5x112 was easy - I used S2 hubs (found a set cheap) and S4/S6 rotors. The rears are being a little bit of a pain - I'm using B5 A4 hubs and B6 A4 rotors, but the rear brake calipers aren't lining up right. Can I just stack a few washers between the caliper and carrier or do I need to have a new carrier machined or should I find some different rear calipers? Trying to be budget-friendly here, but safety is #1. I know I can upgrade to a B5 S4 rear brake setup, but I'd rather work with what I have. Any help is appreciated!

Will S2 hubs work all around on CQ or only on front?

Default All around

But you need to be sure to get a set of back S2 hubs and a set of front S2 hubs. Because the bearings are different.

Default No problem

Some people use A4's in the back to cutdown on costs.

<---------- Jealous of your S2 hubs, I'm piecing mine together A4 rear hubs and urS4 fronts. Alot of hassle but 1/4 the price.

Default OMG. You need the A4 calipers and discs in the rear if you use A4 hubs.

You can use B6 A4 (1.8T) rotors with S2 hubs in the rear.

Don't need the calipers, just the B5 A4 hubs, caliper carriers, and rotors

Default just confirming ... B5 A4 hub means B5 A4 wheel bearing?

does that also mean UrS4/S6 wheel bearings up front? Thanks.
