Default Teflon gear still - spins right, not tight. I am checking ALL circuits as there may be other issues.

The fire as small, but situated right under the distributor. The main cluster of wires shows no signs of fire damage, but there may some related fault I added to with all the removing and replacement of key parts. So I'm checking everything.
I am 3 weeks ahead of the schedule I made, so I have the luxury of time on my side. I may still strip it right down to the head again and build up with special attention to perhaps replacing sensors too.
I drove it into the shop, so I know that it did work - I have created this problem.
