seemed weird that the engine was cranking, and the rotor wanst turning...


thankfully i have a few dizzy's laying around....but they too have plastic gears....

WHY THE HELL DID THEY MAKE THOES PLASTIC?!?

B4's have coil packs, no distributor.

10v's use a metal gear. Not all of the 20v dist's used plastic gears (Audi phased in metal gears).

Duh...True! Has cam and crank position sensors, and three dual-post coils.

May or may not be the dist. Could be the cam-to-cam timing chain...Could be both, who knows! My car always rattled since the day I bought it (wrote the check 04/28/1997) to the day I pulled the engine (07/09/2003). Gear was/is in perfect shape, hardly any wear on it!
