i just got an 89 90q 10v, and it makes a terrible tapping sound, as i have stated before (more than just valve clatter, maybe a bad lifter), and i was taking a look under the valve cover, and i saw that it looksl like there is a huge chip broken off the first cam, it almost looks like it could have been manufactured that way, but it also looks like it could have been flawed out of the factory and chipped. anyone else have this? advise?
