Default Drive shaft

I have a 91 coupe quattro i put it on a lift today after buying it and the drive shaft was missing and the tail to the trans had no hook up for the drive shaft, wtf???? What other trans could fit on it, can you just change the tail or is it just a cap?????

I will post pic soon.

Default wtf???

If it's a coupe quattro, then it has to have a center driveshaft and rear diff.

Post pictures to prove it.

Can you still call it a Coupe Quattro?

It does have a rear diff and i can turn the spot were you hook up the drive shaft and spin the tires it is a 6 bolt circle. I am thinking that some one eliminated the 4 wheel drive because the exhast was welded in. but the tail of the trans post transfer case does not have a ouput unless hiden buy a cap or cover.

Yes, FWD 90 trans will bolt up to it, but mounts may be different...weird.

Default Wow...

I'd be pretty pissed... taking my car back to whomever sold it to me and demanding a refund!

Who converts a quattro to a fwd??? Perhaps there is a way to block off the rear output shaft... but I've never heard of anyone doing that before.

Looking forward to seeing some pictures to get an idea of what they've done!
