Grinding/ABS acuating at very low speeds, help...
Friday I had the PA state inspection and some other work done on my car (a '94 Cabriolet w/171k miles). Along with the inspection, I had my front struts, strut mounts and CV boots replaced. Everything seemed fine at pick-up but now whenever I brake, just before the car comes to a complete stop (approx 3mph and below) the brake pedal pulses, and the front of the car makes a grinding/bearing sticking type noise. The pedal feel is similar to ABS actuating, but I am not sure that is what is actually happening. It does not matter how quickly the car is braking, it happens just about every time from 3mph - 0. It seems to be coming from the front wheels, but I can't verify this, as I don't notice any peculiar steering wheel feelings. Could it have anything to do with the work performed?
I am at a complete loss what could be causing this, does anyone have any suggestions.
Thanks in advance.

Just had this problem myself...
It's your wheel speed sensors in the front strut housing. They're probably dirty and causing the ABS to malfunction. If you pull them out and wipe them off with a rag it will probably take care of the problem.
