...I would be one! No, I don't think I could discern whatever HP gains these may garner, if any, that's not the point. But how 'bout better starting, drive-ability, bottom-end torque, fuel mileage &amp; way cheaper than OEM.

Just a thought; ignoring all performance criteria save fuel milage for a moment, with fuel prices what they are, if the Hitachi's are a better idea, then unsatisfied Carlier/034/Bosch users would be switching away from these &amp; towards the (despite the high cost &amp; limited availability) <i>18 year old</i> ones.
